Privacy Policy

Information you provide

When you use "Load profile", we process the Steam profile URL, vanity name, or SteamID64 you enter so we can look up your public Steam level, XP, and (when available) worldwide rank. We do not ask for or store Steam passwords, payment details, or private account credentials.

Third-party services

To run the calculator, our servers may contact:

• Valve / Steam Web API — resolve vanity names and read public profile summaries and Steam level.
• Steam Ladder — level, XP, and global rank when their API or public profile data is available.
• Pricing providers — market-based estimates for badge set costs (server-side only; API keys are not exposed in the browser).

Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policies. We only send what is needed for the feature you use.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 on all pages to understand aggregate traffic — for example which pages are visited, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, and referral source. This helps us improve the site. We do not publish our analytics property identifier in this policy.

Google may set cookies or use similar technologies and process data on servers in the United States and elsewhere. Google's use of data is described in their Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics in your browser via extensions, privacy settings, or Google's browser add-on.

We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally or to read private Steam profile data beyond what you explicitly submit through our profile lookup form.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may log IP addresses, timestamps, requested URLs, and error details for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. These logs are not used to build marketing profiles.

Cookies

The site may use essential cookies for basic operation. Google Analytics may use analytics cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may still work, but analytics will not run if cookies are blocked.

Retention and your choices

Profile lookups are processed to respond to your request; we do not maintain a public directory of Steam accounts. Analytics data is retained according to Google's settings for our property. You can use the calculator without loading a profile (manual level entry only), which limits third-party profile requests to those you choose.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
